Walking in the same direction
We explored unity, shared vision and the choices that help couples move forward together, rather than letting pressure or silence pull them apart.
A space for couples to pause, reconnect, celebrate their love and strengthen the intimacy they are building together.

In the summer of 2013, a burden began to grow in my heart as I looked at the marriages around me and asked how we could help couples keep love, friendship and intimacy alive. This vision grew from real conversations with couples who loved one another but felt disconnected. They had not necessarily fallen out of love; life had slowly crowded out the time and attention their relationship needed.
Night of Marital Bliss was created to interrupt that drift. It is not about treating every marriage as broken. It is about giving couples a welcoming place to nurture their bond before distance becomes their normal way of life.
A question emerged that still guides this work: how do we help couples stay happily married, not simply stay married? Our first flagship event took place in February 2014 in Surrey, British Columbia, in the Greater Vancouver area. What began as Couple’s Night grew into a flagship gathering, later became Night of Marital Bliss, and was brought to Calgary.
The name reflects the heart of the vision: a night that takes couples back to their first love—to rediscover why they fell in love, remember what drew them to one another, and experience the joy and bliss of marriage again. Marriage is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.
Since then, apart from a pause during COVID, we have gathered couples each year around different themes, with one enduring purpose: to rekindle love, reignite the fire and nurture lasting intimacy. Each theme invites couples to reconnect intentionally and keep building a marriage that thrives.
My husband, Pastor Erons, has been my partner and encourager in this vision. Our own marriage has taught us that friendship and intimacy need care through changing seasons. Each gathering makes space for couples to step away from the demands of work, parenting and daily responsibilities, and invest in one another.
Drift is usually gradual. Conversations get shorter. Check-ins disappear. Unspoken expectations and busyness begin to take the place of curiosity and tenderness. A couple may be managing a household well while feeling less like friends and companions.
Healthy marriages are not perfect marriages. They are relationships in which two people keep making room to listen, repair, learn and grow. Night of Marital Bliss offers a pause and a reset—a reminder that intimacy is built with intention.
We explored unity, shared vision and the choices that help couples move forward together, rather than letting pressure or silence pull them apart.
We turned to emotional and spiritual closeness, friendship, safe communication and the everyday practice of seeing, hearing and choosing each other.
This is a curated evening, not a therapy session or a lecture. Couples can dress up, enjoy food, music, laughter and games, and take part in guided moments of conversation and reflection.
Step out of routine and give each other your attention again.
Reflect on emotional and spiritual connection, friendship, communication and affection without pressure or performance.
Enjoy being together. Participation is invitational; no one needs to share more than they are comfortable sharing.
The night welcomes married couples and engaged couples who want to invest intentionally in their relationship.
Sunday, February 14, 2027. An invitation for married and engaged couples to make room for joy, connection and intentional care. Time, location and other details will follow.
